Aeromexico Files Guadalajara-Paris and Mexico City-Milan 787 Routes for 2027

Aeromexico has filed two new transatlantic routes for the northern summer 2027 season, adding Paris to the network of its Guadalajara base and Milan to the network of its Mexico City hub.

The Two New Routes

Guadalajara-Paris Charles de Gaulle starts on 13 April 2027 with three weekly flights. The schedule filed by the airline shows flight AM042 departing Guadalajara at 13:55 and arriving in Paris at 09:25 the next morning, with AM043 leaving Paris at 11:40 and landing in Guadalajara at 16:10. The route is flown mainly with the Boeing 787-9, with the 787-8 on select dates.

Flights operate on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays. Paris becomes Guadalajara’s second nonstop European destination, after Madrid.

Mexico City-Milan Malpensa starts on 30 March 2027 with four weekly flights, again on the 787-9 with some 787-8 operations. AM076 departs Mexico City at 22:25 and arrives at Malpensa at 18:20 the next day; AM077 leaves Milan at 23:05 and reaches Mexico City at 04:00 the following morning.

Why Guadalajara Matters

Until now, the only nonstop link between Guadalajara and Europe has been to Madrid. Adding Paris gives the city a second European gateway and a major connecting airport for onward travel.

The Mexico City-Milan flight adds a northern Italian business and leisure market to the capital’s long-haul portfolio. Both routes rely on the 787-9, which makes widebody availability the key constraint on how many more such services Aeromexico can add.

The routes sit inside a larger programme. Aeromexico plans more than 75 weekly European departures in summer 2027, which it describes as the largest transatlantic capacity in its history. Combined departures to Paris from Guadalajara, Mexico City and Monterrey will reach 13 a week.

What the Filing Does and Does Not Confirm

The information comes from Aeromexico’s published schedule filings for the 2027 summer season. Schedule filings can be adjusted before the start of service, and airlines sometimes change frequency or equipment as the season approaches. Aeromexico has not so far set out the commercial detail behind the routes, such as fares or any partner codeshares.

For Aeromexico the Paris route also means growing Guadalajara beyond its role as a feeder for Mexico City.

Tickets for both routes are expected to be sold through the airline’s usual channels once the schedules load.
